Do you have a little Swiftie you’re planning a birthday party for? Consider throwing a Taylor Swift Birthday Party (Eras Tour)! With a bit of creativity, you can create an unforgettable celebration inspired by Taylor’s iconic albums. Here’s how to make it happen:

Set the Stage with Invitations
Create invitations that reflect the various “eras” of Taylor Swift. Whether it’s the sparkly, fairy-tale vibes of Speak Now, the moody, cozy aesthetic of Folklore, or the vintage, pop-star glamour of 1989, choose designs that reflect Taylor’s different albums.
For DIY lovers, printable invitations with Taylor-inspired fonts and glitter accents can set the mood right from the start. Online services like Etsy also offer customized Swiftie-themed invitations that will excite your guests before they even arrive.
Decorations: The Eras Theme
Transform your home or venue into a Taylor Swift wonderland by designing different zones or “eras” for the party.
- Fearless Era: Think golden hues, soft fairy lights, and country-style touches.
- Red Era: Go bold with red balloons, roses, and heart-themed decorations.
- 1989 Era: Bright, neon colors, polaroid picture cutouts, and lots of sparkles will embody the upbeat, pop era of Taylor.
- Folklore/Evermore Eras: Create a woodland fairytale vibe with earthy tones, nature-inspired decorations, and cozy blankets.
- Midnights Era: Dreamy starry skies with twinkle lights and deep purples or blues.
Banners, Signs, Balloons
Using banners, signage, and balloon garland is a great way to elevate any party – especially an Eras Tour party!
How adorable is the Eras poster below? Simply snag this template, customize it online, and have it printed as a poster for the perfect party backdrop.
Table Decor
Decorating the tables of any event I’m planning is one of my favorite parts of throwing parties! You can easily elevate your part decor by adding fun plates, napkins, table runners, centerpieces, and more.
I found this Taylor Swift birthday party box which comes with everything you’d need to decorate a birthday party, from banners and garland to disco ball plates and centerpieces. It also includes microphone inflatables, Taylor-inspired signs, white picture frames and more.
Confetti
How adorable is this Taylor Swift inspired confetti? It comes with everything above except the disco balls (you can grab these mini disco balls to scatter throughout the table to add to the mix). Sprinkle this confetti in the middle of your main table or tables to act as a fun runner.
Music Playlist: All Taylor, All Day
No Taylor Swift party is complete without a playlist filled with hits from every era. Curate a setlist with your little girl’s favorite Taylor songs, making sure to cover all the albums. From “Love Story” to “Blank Space” to “Anti-Hero,” let the music guide the energy of the party! Bonus points if you can organize a karaoke setup where guests can perform their favorite Taylor tunes.
Activities Inspired by Taylor
Keep the guests entertained with a variety of Taylor-themed activities:
- Lyric Challenge: Have a game where guests try to finish the lyrics to Taylor’s songs. Offer small prizes for the Swifties who know all the words!
- Friendship Bracelet Making: Inspired by Taylor’s Eras Tour, set up a friendship bracelet-making station. Guests can design their own bracelets with beads and charms, just like the fans do at concerts.
- Photo Booth: Use Taylor-inspired props and have a photo station set up for Swiftie-style selfies. Instant cameras are perfect for capturing these moments, creating instant Polaroid mementos for the kids to take home.
- Musical Chairs (Taylor Edition): Play a classic game of musical chairs with a twist—use Taylor Swift songs as the soundtrack.
Themed Snacks and Desserts
Treat your guests to a selection of snacks and desserts inspired by Taylor’s different eras:
- Fearless Lemonade: Serve up Taylor’s favorite lemonade in golden cups, adding a country twist to the menu.
- Red Velvet Cupcakes: In homage to the Red era, serve red velvet cupcakes decorated with red heart sprinkles.
- 1989 Milkshakes: Offer a milkshake bar with pastel-colored drinks reminiscent of the fun, pop aesthetic of the 1989 album.
- Folklore S’mores: Create a whimsical s’mores bar with marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate—perfect for cozying up in the Folklore woodland.
- Birthday Cake: Of course, the cake should be a showstopper! Consider using a custom cake topper (like the one pictured above) to elevate both the table and the whole dessert table.
- Cupcakes: If you’re serving birthday cupcakes, consider finding swiftie-inspired cupcake toppers like the edible ones above. How cute are these?
Swiftie-Inspired Party Favors
To finish the day on a high note, send your little girl’s friends home with some sweet Taylor Swift-inspired party favors. You can make cute goody bags with items like:
- Taylor Swift stickers
- Eras-themed friendship bracelets
- Mini notebooks and pens (perfect for journaling their own stories)
- Miniature vinyl record keychains
Another cute idea is personalized packaged candies, like the candy necklaces show below:
The below birthday party favor bags are another great option. You can snag these customized packaged goodie bags with sunglasses, friendship bracelets, tattoos, and cotton candy.
These favors will leave your guests feeling like true Swifties and make them remember the party for years to come.
