The rolling storage cart has been a must-have staple for awhile now, especially in the nursery. Having a nursery storage cart is such a great way to organize baby essentials and create extra storage.

Where to Find the Best Nursery Storage Cart

Where do you find nursery storage carts? Which ones are the best?
I have more than one rolling cart in my home, so I’ve shopped around a lot for them. These are by far my favorite options.

#1 Amazon
Amazon has a few great options and this rolling cart has thousands of great reviews.
#2 Wayfair
I personally love this extra wide rolling cart from Michaels, because it looks a bit more stylish and you can obviously store more items on it.
The extra width isn’t too overbearing, however, so the cart can still be tucked away in small spaces.
#3 Michaels
Michaels has a great selection of storage carts and they usually have some sort of sale going on, which is an extra bonus.
I’m in LOVE with this rose gold rolling cart. It would look perfect in a little girl’s nursery.
Nursery Storage Cart Ideas for Baby’s Room
Diaper Cart

One of the more popular nursery storage cart ideas is using it as a diaper cart.
This is a great way to store all of your diaper changing essentials. A major pro to using a cart to store changing supplies is that you can move it around to where you need it when you’re changing baby’s diaper in a hurry.
Items you may want to add to a diaper cart:
- Diapers
- Wipes
- Baby Lotion
- Diaper Rash Cream (I SWEAR by this one)
- Extra onesies and pants
- Pacifiers or “distraction” toys
Another item I am always RAVING about is this rash cream applicator.
It SEEMS like such a ridiculous item to have, but try applying thick rash cream just once and you’ll understand how hard it is to get off your hands!

Bottle Storage
Baby bottle storage is another way I’m seeing people use a rolling cart for baby.
Baby bottles and all their parts take up a lot of room. If you don’t have enough counter, drawer or cabinet space, using a rolling cart may be the perfect solution.
You can even add the drying mat to the top shelf of the rolling cart, which will save you even more counter space!

Breastfeeding or Pumping Station
Using a rolling cart as a breastfeeding or pumping station is my favorite way to use a nursery storage cart, because it’s so practical and useful.
I had a little pumping nook in my nursery with a rocking chair and my rolling cart. I stored all the items I would need to pump and nurse baby:
- Breast pump
- Nipple cream
- Boppy
- Sound machine (if I was rocking baby to sleep while nursing/feeeding)
I exclusively pumped for awhile and I was in this nook a lot, so I stored items to keep myself comfortable too:
- bottle of water
- lotion
- books
Extra Storage

Nursery rolling carts can also be used simply for additional storage in the nursery.
You can add miscellenious items to the cart beside your changing table, like your pump, wipes, wipe warmer, lotions and creams, etc.
I’ve also seen moms use nursery utility carts to store baby books, baby shoes, baby clothing, baby blankets and more.
The trick to keeping the rolling cart organized when you’re storing a variety of items is to use some type of divider to store like items together. This will allow you to maintain organization.
