Acrylic drawer dividers have become more popular lately, and they look really great in a dresser drawer.

I especially like them for diaper drawers to sort and store diapers, wipes, and changing station necessities. They give the nursery dresser drawers are more streamlined, modern look.

These bamboo adjustable drawer dividers work perfectly as a nursery dresser organizer. You can place them where you want them in each drawer.

They allow you to file fold baby onesies, footie pajamas, and all of the baby’s clothes. I love how they allow you to have a neat row of clothes, like the one in pictured above.

You don’t have to have organizers for every item in a drawer. You can simply add one small wicker basket to a drawer in order to store small items like baby bibs, hair bows, or a couple of baby shoes.

How to Fold Baby Clothes into Nursery Drawer Organizer

Using a nursery drawer organizer will maximize the space in the baby’s dresser. If you want to really kick it up a notch, pay attention to the way you’re folding the baby clothes into the baby drawer dividers.

There are a couple of ways that allow you to maximize the storage room in each divider, and that is to either roll the baby clothes or file fold them.

What Clothes Should I Put in a Baby Drawer Organizer

Before placing any clothes in the baby’s dresser, you’ll want to figure out which baby clothes to hang and which to fold. Typically people fold onesies, shirts, and pajamas into nursery drawers.

Top of the Dresser

You may want to consider adding a diaper caddy to the top of the dresser. This is especially true if you’re using your nursery dresser as a changing table.

You can store extra diapers, wipes, onesies, and diaper cream in the diaper caddy for quick access when changing the baby’s diaper.

First Drawer

If you’re using your nursery dresser as a changing table, the top drawer is usually the place to store diapers, extra wipes, diaper cream, nail clippers, and other changing station essentials.

You may also find burp cloths, baby bibs, hair accessories, and other smaller items in this drawer.

Second Drawer

The second nursery drawer is usually saved for onesies and other shirts. You’ll more than likely have a ton of onesies, which is great because newborns tend to go through a couple a day. I suggest storing sizes 0-3 months in the first drawer and later swap them out for bigger sizes.

Third Drawer

The third drawer is typically pants and all the adorable onesie pajama sets.

Remaining Drawers

The bottom drawer can be used for sleep sacks, baby blankets, changing pad covers, and clothes that are still too big for the baby.
