3-Ingredient Ravioli Bake
This 3-Ingredient Ravioli Bake (aka lazy lasagna) is one of my favorite easy dinner recipes for nights when I want lasagna without actually making lasagna.

It has all the cozy, cheesy, saucy comfort of a baked pasta dish, but there are no noodles to boil, no ricotta mixture to fuss with, and barely any prep work at all.
All you need is a bag of frozen cheese ravioli, a jar of pasta sauce, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Layer everything in a baking dish, pop it in the oven, and dinner is done.
This is the kind of recipe that feels homemade and comforting, but still works for those busy weeknights when cooking feels like way too much effort.
Why You’ll Love This Ravioli Bake
This easy ravioli bake is perfect when you need a quick family dinner with minimal ingredients. It tastes a little like lasagna, but it is so much easier to throw together.
You do not even have to thaw or boil the ravioli first. The frozen ravioli bakes right in the sauce, which makes this recipe extra simple. Add a side salad, garlic bread, or some roasted vegetables, and you have a full dinner with almost no effort.
It is also a great recipe to keep in your back pocket for busy school nights, lazy Sundays, or those evenings when you forgot to plan dinner.
Ingredients

You only need three simple ingredients to make this easy baked ravioli recipe:
- 1 24-ounce bag frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 24-ounce jar pasta sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Plus any additional toppings you’d like to add
How to Make 3-Ingredient Ravioli Bake
Preheat your oven to 400°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Spread a small amount of pasta sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. This helps keep the ravioli from sticking and gives the bottom layer plenty of flavor.
Add half of the frozen ravioli in an even layer over the sauce. Spoon half of the remaining pasta sauce over the ravioli, then sprinkle with half of the shredded mozzarella cheese.

Repeat the layers with the remaining frozen ravioli, pasta sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes, or until the ravioli is hot, the sauce is bubbly, and the cheese is melted and golden on top.
Let the ravioli bake rest for a few minutes before serving.
What to Serve with Ravioli Bake

This ravioli bake is filling on its own, but it is so good with a simple side. Try serving it with garlic bread, a Caesar salad, a green side salad, or steamed broccoli.
It also makes a great cozy dinner with a little grated parmesan and fresh basil on top if you have it.
Easy Variations
You can keep this recipe as simple as written, or change it up depending on what you have on hand.
For a meatier version, use meat sauce or add cooked ground beef or Italian sausage between the layers. You can also use beef ravioli instead of cheese ravioli.
For extra cheese, add a little parmesan or dollops of ricotta between the layers.
For a little more flavor, sprinkle in Italian seasoning, garlic powder, or crushed red pepper flakes.
Can You Make This Ahead of Time?
Yes, you can assemble this ravioli bake ahead of time and keep it covered in the refrigerator until you are ready to bake it. Since the ravioli may start to thaw in the fridge, check it while baking and adjust the time as needed.
This is also a great meal to prep earlier in the day so dinner can go straight into the oven later.
How to Store Leftovers
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days. Reheat individual portions in the microwave, or warm larger portions in the oven until heated through.
