Is there anything cozier than the rich, velvety taste of hot chocolate on a chilly day? Imagine taking that comforting flavor and turning it into a fun, dippable dessert perfect for parties, movie nights, or a simple treat at home.
If you’re looking for easy christmas dessert ideas, this is definitely one to add to your list.
This hot chocolate dip is all the indulgent goodness of a classic cup of cocoa, transformed into a creamy, sweet spread that pairs perfectly with marshmallows, graham crackers, fruit, or even pretzels for a salty-sweet twist.

To make this dessert dip you’ll combine cool whip, hot chocolate mix, marshmallow fluff, and a bit of vanilla extract. You’ll beat it together until it’s fully combined and then cool for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

When serving this hot chocolate dip at parties, I like to garnish it with dehydrated marshmallows and crushed candy cane for a peppermint twist. You can really garnish this dip with any type of candy or topping you prefer.
To elevate the look, consider sticking a hot chocolate stir stick into the bowl like pictured below. I found these hot chocolate mixers at the store, and I like to keep them on my hot chocolate bar during the winter.
