Charcuterie Boards + Cups
Charcuterie boards are probably my favorite way to serve finger foods at a baby shower, because it’s all about the presentation! You can really create a beautiful focal point with your food table by setting up stunning charcuterie boards, cups, and grazing tables.
When serving charcuterie boards at a baby shower think salami and other meat, gourmet cheeses, berries, nuts, fancy crackers, veggies, and slices of bread.
Charcuterie cups are my newest go-to at any event, because they’re a breeze to setup and they’re really fun to have as a guest. Find paper cups and serve your favorite bite-sized food on picks for the perfect presentation.
I’m obsessed with this charcuterie spread in these letter trays! You can find these reusable letter trays here (and they’d be really easy to sell after the shower if you no longer wanted them).
And of course, we can’t talk about baby shower charcuterie boards without mentioning the grazing table. Grazing tables are absolutely stunning and such a perfect way to present the food at a baby shower.
Add kraft paper to the top of the table and simply layer on your favorite foods – berries, apples, grapes, cheeses, dips, crackers and more.
Consider charcuterie boards that are seperated by type of food. For example, the above fruit board is served with delicious fruit dips. This would be perfect for a baby shower brunch.
Baby Shower Finger Food Ideas: Sliders
Sliders are one of my favorite options when hosting an event for a crowd, because they’re so easy to make on a large sheet pan or two! They’re simple to make-ahead and reheat!
Can I Make Them Ahead?
Yes! You can make sliders prior to your baby shower and even freeze them before the big day. Simply reheat and serve!

Baby Shower Finger Foods: Pinwheels

Tea Sandwiches (or Mini Sandwiches)
Tea sandwiches are very similar to sliders, except rather than rolls they’re often served on crustless bread cut into bite sized pieces.
The one thing I’d like to point out is that tea sandwiches are best if served right after they’re made. I think you could make them about an hour prior to the event, otherwise they may get a bit soggy.
Here are some of my favorite recipes:
- Mini Club Sandwiches (pictured above)
- Cucumber Sandwiches
- Ham and Cheese Tea Sandwiches
- Strawberry Tea Sandwiches
I feel like with here is where we can get a little fancy in a super easy way! You can really make your food table pop with the presentation of crostini or bruschetta.
- Crostini with Balsamic Strawberries + Ricotta (pictured above)
- Havarti, Ham, & Pear Crostini
- Roast Beef Crostini with Horseradish Cream
- Bacon Jam Crostini
- Brie Apple + Honey Crostini
Bruschetta is similar to crostini, however, the bread it’s served on is different and typically the way it’s cooked is different too. Both bruschetta and crostini look beautiful on a food table.

Serving up appetizer skewers at your baby shower is not just about the flavors but also the presentation that adds a touch of charm to the celebration. Arrange these bite-sized delights on a stylish platter or tiered stand, creating a visually appealing display that beckons your guests to indulge. Consider organizing the skewers by theme or flavor for a cohesive look. If space allows, you can even set up a DIY skewer station, allowing guests to create their own personalized combinations.

Baby Shower Finger Food Ideas: Cocktail Meatballs

Arrange them on a stylish platter or keep them warm in a slow cooker. Cocktail meatballs not only bring a hearty and comforting element to the party but also allow for fuss-free indulgence, leaving your guests free to chat, laugh, and celebrate the impending arrival of the little one.

Veggies + Fruit
Consider incorporating a vibrant array of fruits and vegetables into finger food spread. This healthy option brings a refreshing balance to the celebration. You can create an eye-catching fruit platter with a mix of seasonal favorites or craft a vegetable tray with an assortment of dips for that extra zing.
Not only do these choices add a nutritious touch, but they also cater to various tastes and dietary preferences, ensuring that everyone can partake in the menu.
There are so many fun ways to serve fruits and veggies, and it’s all about the presentation. Here are some fun ideas:
Lastly, bite size egg finger foods are a perfect addition to any baby shower menu, especially if you are hosting a brunch. You can choose from deviled eggs, mini quiches, and more.
